Hey everybody, I am so sorry that I haven't posted for a while. Things have slowed down to a steady crawl. As far as the transplant process goes, we are waiting on the results from my sisters. Both my parents are compatible so far. I say so far because it is up to us to determine who we choose to proceed with the donation process. Let's say that we go with my dad; he would have to go through more testing to make sure he is able to donate, ie. make sure he has TWO kidneys. We are really exciting about this because it may mean the process will go quicker. Please be praying for wisdom as we decide the best route to take.
I have good news about my dialysis! I am now only going three days a week. If I continued going four days, they wanted Saturday to be one of those...YEAH RIGHT! So luckily I was able to compromise and extend my time to three days at four and half hours each. It really isn't that bad. I am able to get a lot of sleep.
Please continue to be praying for the transplant process, both from who and how soon. I am also available to do some substitute teaching this summer. I am really looking forward to the opportunity of doing something. But please pray that I my body will allow me to do this.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
